Vanguard Performing and Visual Arts Mission Statement

The Vanguard Performing and Visual Art Studios provides an artists community of exceptional caliber for students who prefer a hands on education experience in their craft.

We pride ourselves on being involved with our local community in providing master classes, clinics, art gallerys and performing/visual art shows. VPVAS provides an artists community to any varying degree of classical, romantic and contemporary genres. As a non-profit organization it is our duty to network as many sponsorships possible to help ensure the quality of education materials, rehearsal equipment and the venue hall. We will encourage parents/guardians to attend performances, master classes and clinics produced by the students. We believe that is the best way to affect the community surrounding VPVAS. It is our goal to provide the equipment and education to advance the students/internships into the professional world of performing and visual arts.

VPVAS Objectives

1. Providing teachers for beginner, intermediate and advanced performing and visual artists.
2. Provides rehearsal and recording spaces for individuals and large ensembles.
3. Production and audio/visual software training provided to students.
4. Internship curriculum offered to college students interested in receiving college credit.
5. Provides a vast database of local field study work in pertains to the student’s interest.
6. Provides hands on training in regards to organizing and marketing of venue performances.
7. Student ensembles perform weekly prior to professional ensembles which provides priceless experience.
8. VPVAS also doubles as a private recital hall for advanced and professional artists.
9. Providing live video workshops in conjunction with film companies.
10. VPVAS hosts many visual art galleries that have joint non-profit sponsors which allow our visual artists students to display their works to accredited visual artists and publishers.
